15-Person Houseboat

Please use this as a guide, all of our houseboats are 15 person but depending on the model there are some variations. On board this approximately 1000 sqft, 2 storey boat you’ll find 2/3 staterooms, 2 bathrooms and a full size kitchen, plus forward and rear access to the bridge deck.
On the bridge deck a Bimini top, some with a deluxe wet bar, hot tub, suntan/dance area and slide are included. (options may vary depending on the model of houseboat) Note: All boats come with hot tubs and slides
The penthouse loft is a great sleeping area for kids or those young at heart.
Most of our houseboats have a remote fueling station at the rear so you may fill up your boats and personal watercraft anywhere on the lake.

Reservation Policies
IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY for BOAT RENTALS
1) PAYMENT OF BOAT RENTAL:
a) The reservation deposit is applied to the cost of renting the boat.
b) The balance of the rental payment is due and payable no later than 90 days prior to departure failure to pay may result in your booking being canceled and loss of your deposit.
c) The balance due (if any outstanding balance has not yet been paid) will be processed 90 days prior to departure. By accepting this policy and checking below you agree for 'The Fish & Duck Pub Ltd' to process and authorize us to process your payment. It is your responsibility to ensure the card on file is up to date and correct. Failure to ensure the card on file is correct, up to date, and has sufficient funds will result in your booking being canceled and the loss of your deposit.
d) Your reservation may be canceled, WITHOUT NOTICE, if for any reason we are unable to process payment in full 90 days prior. We will attempt three times to take payment on three occasions. We will notify you if there is an issue with your card. If you do not resolve your card problem, and we are unable to process your payment which by agreeing to these terms you give us permission to do so, and we are unable to contact you we will cancel your booking.
2) CANCELLATION / CHANGES:
a) A $100 administration fee will be charged if you cancel or change your reservation up to 6 days after booking. Your FULL deposit of $1000 will be retained by Fish and Duck Pub Ltd. If you cancel or change your reservation more than 7 days after booking and up to the date of departure.
b) Full rental fee will be retained by Fish and Duck Houseboats if you cancel or change your reservation 90 days (or less) prior to your departure.
c) An administration fee of $100 may be charged to your reservation, at the discretion of the fish and Duck Pub Ltd, if you change your reservation any time after booking, plus any other applicable charges.
2.1) COVID POLICY
a) All bookings affected due to COVID Government-Mandated Restrictions and Lockdowns will be postponed and 100% credited of monies paid to a future booking. There will be no refunds given only credits.
3) SECURITY DEPOSIT:
a) Fish and Duck Pub Ltd will hold $2500.00 (houseboats) $1500.00 (pontoon boats) $1000 (ski boats) $500 (SUP/Kayaks) for a security deposit at the time of rental. Should your rented boat become damaged you will be responsible for paying for damages from your security deposit of any loss and/or damage, plus any other relevant charges. Your Damage expense is NOT limited to the deposit paid and you may be liable for ALL costs incurred with the damage.
b) The security deposit in the amount of the minimum deductible you are responsible for is required at the marina and can only be made in the form of Visa or Mastercard. The Cardholder must be a captain or co-captain on the boat. No third-party authorization will be accepted. Charges may be assessed upon your return. NO CASH, MONEY ORDERS or PERSONAL CHEQUES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
*** NOTE: Any damages resulting from willful damage, gross negligence or illegal acts are not covered by our insurance and you will be liable for the full cost and will be charged for repair/replacement.
Propeller, skeg, and leg damage. You will be required to pay for any damage in full. The deposit will be applied to any outstanding charges including lost, broken inventory items, late returns, excessively unclean boats, or any other damages.
4) THE CAPTAINS:
a) Two persons who are at least 19 years old from the group using the rented boats, must agree to be captains of the rented boat before it can be allowed to sail.
b) The Captains will assume responsibility (jointly with the renter) for the operation of the rented boat and the conduct of the group using it, including but not limiting the following:
i) To operate the boat and its equipment per the instructions of staff given before departure, to observe the Rules and Regulations set.
ii) To use the boat solely for personal use and to permit no one other than a Captain to operate the boat.
iii) To operate the boat and its equipment in conformity with all government, municipal, and marine laws and regulations, and in a manner, which does not infringe upon the rights of the lakefront homeowners, businesses, or other boaters.
iv) Not to operate the boat to cause harm, injury, or damage to any other person or property.
v) Not to launch any projectiles (water balloons, golf balls, fireworks etc.) from the boat. This will result in a minimum fine of $1000. We want to keep our pristine lake in a pristine condition for all to enjoy.
vi) Agree to be responsible, along with the renter for all charges owing on the rental of the boat including any damages to it or its inventory and any or all other charges/fines as deemed necessary by Fish and Duck Pub Ltd and its affiliated employees, agents, and associated companies.
c) The Captains will have to sign an agreement agreeing to the above responsibilities and will also have to agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fish and Duck Pub Ltd. From any and all claims that may arise out of the operation or use of the houseboat, and for all costs relating to those claims.
5) FURTHER RENTER RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) To report immediately any damages or malfunction involving the boat to Fish and Duck Pub Ltd base.
b) To return the houseboat at your assigned return time, clean and in the exact same condition and working order as it was at the time of departure. Failure to do so will result in a minimum $500 cleaning charge. Note: The use of Body Paint and Glitter will result in an automatic cleaning fee of $500.
c) On return to the marina, to pay Fish and Duck Pub Ltd. for fuel, septic pump (houseboats), and for any lost/damaged inventory items, violations of park rules and/or associated charges relating to the misuse of the boat or breach of any regulations as set out by The Fish and Duck Pub Ltd.
d) To agree to pay Fish and Duck Pub Ltd for any service calls other than those deemed as a result of mechanical failure due to normal wear and tear, at the rate set at the Fish and Duck Pub Ltd. discretion.
e) To ensure that all other occupants of the boat comply with the terms of this Agreement.
f) To inspect the boat, its accessories, and equipment prior to departure and to complete the inventory checklist provided, and renters will be responsible for any missing or damaged inventory.
6) BOAT MALFUNCTION:
a) In the event of any malfunctions, mechanical or electrical failure, or breakdown of the boat, and any of its parts, equipment or accessories, Fish and Duck Pub Ltd. shall not be responsible for adjusting amounts paid for any delays or interruptions that may happen. PLEASE NOTE NO REFUNDS OF ANY AMOUNT WILL BE GIVEN after sailing for any mechanical or electrical failure of the boat, Fish and Duck Pub Ltd. shall endeavor to service the boat and to complete any required repair or replacement as quickly as possible, however, we can not guarantee repair due to the availability of parts and or staff which may not be possible at certain times.
7) FURTHER TERMS:
a) Fish and Duck Pub Ltd does not guarantee the availability or style of any boat.
b) Fish and Duck Pub Ltd. reserves the right to change the above policy at any time without prior notification.
c) Vehicles and contents are left at the operators' or owners’ risk.
d) Vehicles parked on-site will be charged at $10 per vehicle per night. You must obtain a parking pass from the office. Failure to pay and display will result in your vehicle being clamped and a $250 fine.
e) All pets must be registered and paid for on houseboats. If your pet is not registered on your houseboat, Fish & Duck Pub Ltd has the right to cancel your reservation without a refund. ABSOLUTELY NO PETS on Ski boats, Wakesurf Boat, and Pontoon boats.
8) LIABILITY:
a) The Renter’(s) agree to release, hold harmless, and indemnify Fish and Duck Pub Ltd., its employees, agents, and associated companies from any and all damages, claims, actions, and costs, legal or otherwise, whatsoever, which are made by any person or party, whether an occupant of the houseboat or not, and which arise out of the use or operation of the boat, its equipment or accessories.
